Koria Kitten Riot are a Finnish indie pop band with a touch of 60s folk rock. Fronted by singer-songwriter Antti Reikko, the band are influenced by Elliott Smith, Wilco, early Weezer and Bright Eyes.

Released in January 2017, ‘Songs of Hope and Science’ is the fourth studio album from Helsinki, Finland based group. A mixture of guitar pop, singer-songwriter Americana and psychedelia, the album’s thematically intertwined ideas are shaped by the tumultuous 2016 both personally for the band members as well as worldwide.

A full-fledged band with five musicians, the moniker initially started life as a solo project and grew to include drummer Tuomas Lankinen (Johnny Superhero) and bassist Matti Vasanen. The band has toured and recorded extensively throughout Europe. With a focus on songwriting and instrumental experimentation, the music is full of character and charm.
