Finnish indie pop act koriakittenriot brings us some cheery instrument-stuffed indie-pop that reminds me of a late ’00s version of Bright Eyes. Fronted by singer-songwriter Antti Reikko, it’s a very satisfying listen!
‘Rich Men Poor Men Good Men’ is KKR’s first album to feature a full band. The record is an honest testament to Reikko’s experience, backed up by the uplifting lyrical themes of hope and science.
Rich Men Poor Men Good Men
Hailing from Helsinki, Finland indie pop quintet Koria Kitten Riot are preparing to release their third LP, Rich Men Poor Men Good Men. Their latest is a nod to the burgeoning genre of indie rock and its subgenres, namely shoegaze and glam glam. It is their most polished and commercially viable release yet and marks the arrival of the band’s new sextet member.
Aside from a few notable missteps, Rich Men Poor Men Good Men is a solid effort in all departments. The album’s top notch production, stellar sound and stellar writing all come together to form a well rounded collection that should be on your listening list for the foreseeable future. The band are already hard at work on their next LP and you can bet it will be their best.
Milgram Experiment
In 1961, Stanley Milgram, a psychologist at Yale University in Connecticut, conducted an experiment that measured people’s obedience to authority. He randomly assigned 40 American men to “teacher” and “learner” roles.
They were introduced to a second person (an actor hired by the Milgram lab), who explained that he was also part of the study. The “teacher” and the “learner” were in on what was really happening, though they appeared to be a completely separate group of individuals from the rest of the participants.
The first “teacher” prodded the other person to continue shocking the person who was in the learner’s place, despite the fact that the shocks were painful and distressing to the person being shocked. The shocks went up to 450 volts.
According to the results of the experiment, about two-thirds of the people in the study followed instructions and continued to administer shocks despite the pain. It is hard to imagine that this level of obedience could have come about if the subject knew they were actually hurting another person, but it did happen.
One of the most intriguing findings from the original Milgram experiment is that people with social support were less likely to administer shocks. This could be because they believed that their friend was suffering, so they did not want to harm him in a way that would cause pain.
Nonetheless, the Milgram Experiment is not without its flaws. The experiment violates a number of ethical requirements, such as keeping the participant in an experiment against his will and not allowing him to withdraw from the experiment. It is also a dangerous procedure, as it causes psychological harm to the participant.
In addition, the experiment is very controversial. Many people believe that the Milgram Experiment is a form of psychological torture and should not be carried out. It is hard to understand why the Milgram Experiment was done, as it violated a lot of human rights and is very dangerous. It also deceived the people who took part in the experiment, which was not a good thing.
The Earth Will Spin Around
As Earth moves around the sun, it turns in a counterclockwise direction. This movement is referred to as the rotation of the Earth, or Earth’s spin.
The rotation of the Earth is governed by its moment of inertia, which is similar to the idea of mass, but instead of moving linearly, it revolves around an axis of rotation. For a body with a certain amount of mass, if the mass is spread out (so it’s closer to the center) its moment of inertia will increase and it will rotate faster.
This is the basic theory of rotation, which also explains how a swivel chair slows down as you bring your arms in. The reason it’s slower is because your angular momentum — the amount of energy your body generates when you rotate — decreases as your arms spread out.
You’ll see a similar effect in the weather. In El Nino years, for instance, the Earth’s rotation slows slightly.
These variations in the planet’s rotation rate are caused by a variety of things. For one thing, the Earth’s iron core shifts direction of spin every few million years or so. If the shift were to be huge enough, it could cause mega tsunamis or change entire weather systems.
Another factor is the tides and winds. They pull on the oceans and change the way the planet rotates ever so slightly, especially when it’s near a equator.
There are a few more factors that contribute to the Earth’s rotation rate, but most scientists agree that the gyroscopial forces created by the wind and the tides do all of the work to keep our planet spinning as it does.
If the Earth stopped spinning for any period of time, there would be a huge impact on everything. People, buildings, trees and the ground itself would all be swept away.
Scientists haven’t figured out all the factors that affect the Earth’s rotation rate, but they know that it does slow down from time to time. This summer, for example, the planet skimmed 1.59 milliseconds off its usual rotation time.
Hanging On A Dream
When you dream about hanging, it usually indicates a difficult situation that is taking too much time to resolve. It may also be a sign that you are lacking patience.
If you hang yourself in a dream, it means that you feel trapped and are not sure what to do about the situation. The dream also suggests that you are trying to solve too many problems at once.
A person who dreams about hanging can be suffering from a condition like asthma, where they have difficulty breathing. Alternatively, it can also be a symbol of death.
Dreams about a person being hung can indicate that someone is causing you grief, whether it be a loved one, or a friend. The dream may be a reminder that you need to focus on your emotions instead of letting them control your actions.
This dream can also be a sign that you are losing your way in life and need to make some changes. It is important to stay focused and work hard to achieve your goals.
The dream may also be a harbinger for good company and lasting friendships. It could be a warning to you that there is something you are hiding from others, or you need to let go of the past and move on with your life.
When you are dreaming of someone hanging from a rope, it suggests that you are feeling suffocated in some way. This is a common dream occurrence for people who are experiencing feelings of insecurities or uncertainty in their lives.
Similarly, dreaming about someone hanging from a noose can suggest that you are not being acknowledged for your hard work. This can be a sign that you are not being accepted by those around you, or that you have made some bad decisions in the past and are now suffering from self-pity and regret.
In this case, it is important to get help as soon as possible. You may want to talk to your doctor about the situation, or seek advice from a trusted friend or family member.
